Clearly Love

Double D Challenges: Valentine Love

My take on the Valentine Love Mood Board created by Double D Challenges:

using the pinks and the pillow with Love.

Going back to my paper pad stash, I found Love patterned paper and of course lots of pink to create my card. Getting my inspiration from Call Me Crafty Al and her January 2021 Sheet Load of Cards YouTube video and her use of clear presentation covers for a card base, my card was completed with a little stamping. Sentiment was from Serendipity Stamps. It’s a fun sketch but uses a lot of cardstock if you layer the patterned papers but I also made this sheet load of cards without the cardstock layering piece, too. Thanks to Lisa K for sharing this YouTube channel to me.

So it’s Thursday and yes, you guessed it, more SNOW! My little snowmen collection in our front window have been warned…..any more snow and they will be banished to their basement bin and will not see the light of day until next Christmas.

Have a great day. Thanks for stopping in for a peek.

  2. Love all the layers and the pattrened papers you used here. Cute lips, too!!

I’m with you – enough snow. And I didn’t even put out any of my “let it snow” decorations this year, but it didn’t seem to work. – lol!

  3. Love your card! You did great with the clear card layout. I haven’t tried that, yet. So glad you are inspired by Crafty Al and her layouts. I am finding them enjoyable to use and create with.

  4. Very creative and a wonderful end result. Those lips are perfect along with the kisses underneath. I’m also fed up with winter. We got snow after an extremely cold week and although today it has been raining they say more snow is coming. It was slippery dog walk earlier.
