….hard to find

SSC250

and LUCKY to have!

I finally finished and mailed Valentine cards however who knows how long they may take to be received in friends’ mailboxes. The valentine’s supplies were stored away and my desk and stamp area cleared so it’s time to move onto my next favorite holiday is St. Patrick’s Day. I decided to use the sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps to kick off St. Patrick’s Day.

In my continuing effort to use patterned papers, the background piece is from a Recollections Pretty in Pink paper pad. The equal panels were created using a Designer Stencils Shamrock miniprint stencil and GKD grass green Glitz Glitter Gel. Sentiment from Colorado Craft Company was gold embossed and cut using Spellbinders Fancy Tags die and lightly sponged in green ink. I added three die cut shamrocks to the tag.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek.

More snow!! A little more of a nuisance than major accumulations thankfully.

  1. Wow, what a great take on our sketch – LOVE that paper, and a super sweet sentiment perfect for St. Pat’s! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!

  2. Gayle, this definitely looks like fun! I’m impressed with you getting Valentine’s cards out, too. I had every intention of making them and sending them to everyone, but life got in the way.
Your St. Patrick’s Day card is such fun with the gold glitter shamrocks!

  3. You couldn’t have used a better sentiment for your St. Paddy’s day card than that one, and the gold embossing and fancy tag design work beautifully with the glitter clovers on your three panels. Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous card with us at Sunday Stamps!

  4. What a great take on the sketch. Love how you created your own PP using the glitter. Fun card and very pretty too.
