This month’s Monthly Mix Challenge at Gina K Designs is to use Red and make it a celebration card. I chose to stamp and create with the Fabulous Rose Frame illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. I loved this frame set when it was first introduced in 2017 and it has recently been retired and placed on the Clearance rack. I was fortunate to be able to make the purchase.

I stamped the image, using my MISTI, on Spectrum Noir White cardstock. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color the images, then cut it out using coordinating dies. The oval die is from Stampin’Up and it fit well in the frame. I know this will go to someone who has a February birthday as it is red.

Very pretty and perfect for a February birthday. Love that frame set.
Thanks, Gerry. I am liking this set more and more.
Beautiful – your coloring is amazing!
Thanks! Some days I enjoy coloring.
Another lovely card. Great coloring on this one too.
Love your coloring, Funny how we never seem to out grow that activity.
Great take on the challenge. That set is fun to color. Glad you were able to snag it on sale.
Gorgeous! Love the bold colors you chose.
What a pretty use of the rose set! It will definitely add to someone’s birthday celebration. Great work on it.
Beautiful creation! Thanks for playing along!
Thank You! I haven’t joined in the challenges at GKD in a while and this was right up my alley.
Lovely creation and a perfect card for Valentines day even if you didn’t actually create it for the occasion.
