I’m finding a reason not to pack away my Christmas collection of stamps by entering this card into the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge by Melissa.
I found a Michael’s Recollections cling stamp set with this scripty tree and decided to use it with some non traditional holiday colors. The image was heat embossed with white embossing powder on Denami Designs vellum cardstock, then layered over a panel of Gina K Designs patterned paper and added a sentiment from Verve Stamps O Christmas Tree in Gina K’s turquoise sea ink and all mounted on a turquoise sea cardstock.
Thanks for stopping. Stay safe!

Love your white embossed tree image, and the non-traditional colors. Great card design!
Very pretty. I like the swirly tree. I’ve been enjoying seeing Christmas cards with non-traditional colors.
Love your swirly tree and the non-traditional colors. Lovely card!
I remember colors and designs of the 50’s and this fits right in. I keep my Christmas stamps in a closet not with the storage of decorations, so they are always at hand. Happiest of Holy Day my friend.
Such a gorgeous tree, Gayle, looks so striking on the vellum! I also love that background paper, such a fun pattern! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
This is so pretty Gayle. Love the white embossed tree on vellum and the non traditional colors. I agree with Bonnie about the 50’s.
Just beautiful! The embossed tree is stunning! Love the colors. Thanks for joining us at Sunday Stamps, hope to see you again soon!
This is a beautiful card Gayle! I love the colors you used and the pretty tree.
I just love that scripty tree and how you used it. Great card and good choice of PP and design elements.
