It seems like my Christmas cards for 2020 are a little out of my “normal” traditional color and design choices just like the year it’s been. However, I am enjoying spreading myself in different directions.
The challenge at The Card Concept this inspiration photo:

and to define your style. Well defining my all over the place style is a little more difficult than making the card. But for this card I’m thinking Clean & Layered For the card I die cut my star using Spellbinders Nestabilities star die set from Recollections Christmas paper pad. I also die cut my greens from CherryLynn dies and added a red raffia ribbon bow. The sentiment is SSS Peaceful Christmas. The card is mounted on GKD Kraft cardstock and the layering panel is also kraft, scored with white pigment ink swiped over it.
Thanks for looking. Stay Safe.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! You captured the idea of the inspiration photo perfectly, and I love the clean design.
Love this one!
Thanks so much, Diana, for your kind words.
Thanks, Lisa, you were my inspiration on this card.
Lovely card! It looks like the inspiration piece. Love the paper you used.
This is your style. Perfectly composed and expressing the season and still offering your touches.
Hugs, Bonnie, such a lovely comment. You build me up.
Gorgeous!! I love this card with the CAS design.
I’m with Lisa B – I love, love, love this one. It is fabulously different and an amazing design. A plaid star – who would have thought it would work yet it does!!!
Thanks so much Johanna. This was a stretch for me but I’m happy with the results.
You do non traditional and traditional Christmas colors well. Your range is varied and quite lovely. I really like your warm and fuzzy star, too. Plaid generally reminds me of flannel, hence the warm and fuzzy.
I love your plaid star on this beautiful Christmas card! Thanks for playing along at The Card Concept this week!
Thanks for your support and a fun challenge.
I love that you cut the star from buffalo plaid paper. Very Christmasy! Thanks for playing along with us at The Card Concept.
