I made a card following the Featured Stamper on Splitcoast Stampers.

I used Lawn Fawn stamps sets, Year Ten for the cactus and greeting, and Simply Sentiments for the circle. I think this is the first time I have stamped and colored the cactus. Here is Tanya the featured stampers card that I chose to CASE: https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2964112?&cat=500&ppuser=64917
Basically I kept her layout and colors, but used a different cactus and greeting. Of course I added googly eyes! I enjoy honoring a featured stamper when I have the time and find an idea.
Very cute! Maybe I should put googly eyes on some of our cactus!
That would be fun to see! I have another cactus stamp that I decorated with lights one year. I need to find it and play with it once again. Thanks!
Your cactus, with the google eyes, is so cute! I love how you framed it with the large scallops, and the stitched mats look great as well! All the elements on your card go together so nicely.
Thanks! The eyes always add so much to a card, but cost a bit more to mail.
Adding the layers was so fun and interesting how more creates the focal interest to the adorable center.
Thanks! Very easy when following someone else’s work.
Lisa, this is adorable. A definite yes to the googly eyes and a great CASE of the featured stamper’s card.
Thanks! I do love adding googly eyes. I saw the googly eyes in the Lawn Fawn blog when this stamp was released. It just adds the fun!
What a cute, fun card. Love the googly eyes on the cactus.
Thanks, Gerry. I do love the googly eyes and are so fun!
Lisa, what a fun card! You did a great job on it and the wiggle eyes are the perfect addition to add some fun. Great job on the coloring, too.
Thanks! I made several cactus and finally decided to use this one. Now, I still have several set aside for another time. Gotta love those googly eyes!!
Those googly eyes really make the card a fun one. Love the layout and layers.
