I am involved in a card swap where we CASE a card and will send it to each other.

I was sent the photo of the card, I found it on Pinterest, then the person’s blog. She used the OWH sketch, which I found quite helpful in creating my card.

I used a set from Maymay Made It called Sunflower Wishes for the greeting, and SU Bloom by Bloom for the focal image. The main piece of paper was from Michael’s in my stash. I began with the scrapbook paper, then matched pink tones to it. The embossed pink cardstock is Hobby Lobby, which I embossed with a SU Ornate Floral EF. The pink cardstock in behind the focal image is Pink Pirouette SU retired. I found pink ribbon from Hobby Lobby in my stash from several years ago, and it was still in the original packaging and never opened.
It has been several years since I have participated in this kind of swap. I enjoyed making the cards and they will be addressed and sent out soon. Thanks!
This whole thing sounds like so much fun. Your card is super sweet.
Thanks! It has been a long time since I have swapped like this.
Beautiful card and unique idea. Have fun with the swap!
Thanks! All the cards are finished, now I need to address the envelopes.
Sounds like a fun idea! Love the pinks and greens you chose, and those little dot clusters around your floral image look great! Very pretty!!
Thanks! I liked the dots as the scrapbook paper had small flowers all over between the blooms.
Great case of the card. I like the colors and patter you chose. A card swap sounds like fun.
Great CASE of the card. I love the pinks you chose. Have fun with the swap, Lisa.
I think you do a wonderful job on matching colours whether it be tones or a straight up match. Love the card and it is a perfect CASE on the sketch.
So pretty and feminine. Perfect CASE and I love all the pinks.
Thanks! I was glad I had a few pinks that would work.
Great job on your card! Love that you included the card you were CASEing, as well as the sketch they used.
I went searching for the card on Pinterest, then found the sketch. After having that information, it was easy to create. I paid extra for postage as it was a bit too thick, but it is out in the mail. I did enjoy creating the cards.
