Card Swap

I am involved in a card swap where we CASE a card and will send it to each other.

Sketch the card was based on.
card we are CASE

I was sent the photo of the card, I found it on Pinterest, then the person’s blog. She used the OWH sketch, which I found quite helpful in creating my card.

My CASE of the above card

I used a set from Maymay Made It called Sunflower Wishes for the greeting, and SU Bloom by Bloom for the focal image. The main piece of paper was from Michael’s in my stash. I began with the scrapbook paper, then matched pink tones to it. The embossed pink cardstock is Hobby Lobby, which I embossed with a SU Ornate Floral EF. The pink cardstock in behind the focal image is Pink Pirouette SU retired. I found pink ribbon from Hobby Lobby in my stash from several years ago, and it was still in the original packaging and never opened.

It has been several years since I have participated in this kind of swap. I enjoyed making the cards and they will be addressed and sent out soon. Thanks!

  1. I think you do a wonderful job on matching colours whether it be tones or a straight up match. Love the card and it is a perfect CASE on the sketch.

    1. I went searching for the card on Pinterest, then found the sketch. After having that information, it was easy to create. I paid extra for postage as it was a bit too thick, but it is out in the mail. I did enjoy creating the cards.
