Trick or Treat

I enjoyed having something new to color during the thunderstorm earlier in the week. I often have to hang out with the dog, so I colored and watched video.

This is my first entry to the Newton’s Nook Inky Paws challenge. This digi was fun to color! I used Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. The cardstock is all Gina K Designs. I found a sketch to follow on Pinterest, but do not remember whose it was. The embossing folder is a Lifestyle Crafts Lattice one. I used GKD/Thermoweb stitched oval dies for the pumpkin and shadow layer. I like the card! I can see mailing this to someone.

I found another challenge which this card fits perfectly. Send a Smile 4 Kids has a make a fall or Halloween cards for kids, which are not scary. My card is fun and not scary, so I am linking it to their challenge.

    1. This is my first Newton’s Nook image. I had fun with this challenge. Thanks for the note about the free digi’s. They have a sale going right now, which is tempting. Thanks for the comment!

    1. Gerry, I pulled out so many EF looking for the perfect one that resembles candy. This was the only one in my large stash that worked. I was so happy when I saw it with the pumpkin together. Thanks!

  1. Great colouring here and a fun Halloween card too. Glad it fit so many challenges and isn’t scary for kids.
