Playing along with the Mod Squad Challenge this week. Having fun ink blending and creating a birthday card for my stash.

I followed Cathy Zielske’s card idea, https://www.cathyzielske.com/2020/07/more-masking-ink-blending-and-silhouette-stamping-featuring-products-from-gina-k-designs/, and created this card. I used the stamps Scripty Sayings and Nurturing Blooms for the stamping. My ink colors are Jelly Bean Green, Lovely Lavendar, and Sea Glass. After adding my sentiment and embossing in gold, I felt my card needed a bit more gold. I used the Versamarker and embossed the outline. It is not perfect, but works.
I enjoyed creating this card. Thanks for a fun challenge!
Nice card!
This is so pretty! The gold mat and sentiment look great with you sponged background. Love the silhouette images you chose here as well!
Thanks! I was trying to get the pieces to look good together.
I love the fact that the fold trim is not perfect. Great blending and cool use of sentiment.
Thanks! It is easy to tell it is handmade, which is what I go for.
Very pretty. the gold border really sets the sponging off.
Great idea to use the gold border and trim for your silhouette and pretty sponged background. Great card, Lisa.
Having fun creating definitely shows in this pretty card. I like how you added the extra gold around the edges of your focal piece, as well. It makes the sentiment stand out. This is beautiful!
Thanks Golda, I was trying to add a foil layer, but it needed the scallop. Then I decided to use the Versamarker and add the matching embossing powder. I like the end result.
This is just beautiful, Lisa. I love your design, really makes your image pop. Great take on the challenge, thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge

This is great and I just adore that gold scalloped border you created for it. So beautiful.
