What’s almost as good as Christmas? Christmas in July with rainbows!! The challenge this month at Gina K Designs hosted by Sheri is Christmas in July. I pulled out my GKD Christmas stamps and found the Sentimental Sentiments StampTV kit using all of the snowflakes in this set stamped in versamark ink, white heat embossed with GKD’s fine detail white embossing powder, then pulled out my inks all GKD with an exception of the yellow which is a combination of GKD and a TH Distress ink and applied rainbow order ink over this slimline card. The image is from GKD’s Snow One Like You and the coordinating Silhouette cut file. Die cut sentiment and shadow as well as the cheer sentiment are from the same StampTV kit. I was going to use the small “merry” sentiment but somehow it got lost in my messy desk. My lower left corner got a little funky not sure if it was the versamark, not heat set properly but probably due to human error :).
But right now it’s back to work…Will is on a mission of different projects and I have been pulled in as his assistant. It is so very hot with not much relief in site so I was a little cranky today…..but…..to my surprise I just received a delivery of 6 Christmas Edge-Ables dies and can’t wait to play with them. So excited! Crankiness appeased!

Lovely card! I like the birdhouse and the colorful background. Glad this helped with the crankiness. I am heading to my craft room soon as I have been feeling cranky.
LOL, Lisa, it must be the weather. Thanks for your sweet comments.
Beautiful Christmas card! Love the rainbow design! Thank you so much for playing along with the Monthly Mix Challenge at Gina K. Designs!
Love all the cheery colors! Great holiday card!!
Gayle, what a great Christmas card. Love the rainbow background and all the little extras.
Until I read your description I didn’t notice anything funky in the corner. Went back to take another look. Chuckled because what I see is what I do a lot myself. I think the rainbow background is perfect for the snowflakes. Kind of reminds me of the Northern lights.
