AYSI Challenge #224
I’ll be entering my card into two different challenges today. The first one is Sunday Stamps SSC230 Getting Sketchy sketch challenge with this nice sketch by Amy:

The second challenge is the As You See It Challenge #224 Fleet Florals which is a timed flower card challenge (under 10 minutes).

So my idea came from using the Sunday Stamps Challenge sketch, pulled my cardstock and patterned paper, paper trimmer in place, misti ready, stamp set and dies chosen, Big Shot close by, punch, ink, timer. Timer????look for your phone — ok found it under papers. Ready set go. The stars were aligned and this came together nicely. Stamped the GKD 2 step flowers from Dazzling Dahlia and die cut, stamped sentiment from same stamp set, cut a piece of patterned paper, punched the circle with Marvy Uchida circle punch. I had a little extra time so stamped and die cut the leaf image, assembled card and time: 9:47.55. If I had a little more time , I think an embossing folder or stencil on the layering image would have been nice. Both were fun challenges and I enjoyed playing along. Thanks for stopping by today.
Such bold blooms, Gayle – love the bright colors! Fun DSP along your edge! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
Thanks Heather, I appreciate your comments and another fun challenge.
Beautiful! Great take on the sketch challenge and awesome that you were able to get it done so quickly.
Thanks, Lisa, it was a really great sketch to play along with.

LOL….the blood really gets pumping on those timed challenges. They are fun.
I enjoyed your write-up, Gayle. The flower stamp is gorgeous! I’m glad you had the time to add the leaf – it just finishes off that cluster. Thanks for playing along with us again at As You See It Challenge.
Thanks, Jan, I always try to make a game out of the timed challenges. I appreciate the thoughts and the challenge.

Thanks, Judy, those timed challenges are fun for me to play along.
So fun what will motivate us. Your detail narrative is delightful. I only wish there was a prize for putting everything away in a timely manner.
LOL, Bonnie, I cannot show you my work space. It will take awhile to clean that up. I’ll need to set the timer, I guess.
Your description of putting this together is the best. You make me chuckle because you always say you don’t write that well and then you come up with this. Oh yeah, the card is gorgeous too. Love it all.
Hugs, Johanna, for your support. I enjoy those timed challenges since I need to really focus on the task at hand.
