I love this Gerbera Daisy background from Simon Says Stamp, but it took me a looooong time to color. I used over 35 Prisma pencils for this. I just worked on it a couple of hours each evening while watching TV. One of the lessons I got from binge watching Spring Card Camp was getting two cards out of one panel or die cut. The third card was a bonus. After cutting the panel into strips I mounted each on a mat cut with a stitched scallop border die then added another colored strip. Three more birthday cards for my stash.
Wow – I can see why you love that stamp. It gives such a lovely impression to colour and cutting it into panels was inspired. You did a wonderful job on the colouring. It reminds me of summer and I really like how you added borders to each piece.
Beautiful cards!
Thanks Diana
Beautiful coloring and great idea to create one panel and cut it in strips for multiple cards! These look amazing!!
Thanks Lisa. It was worth the time it was worth the time I took to color it.
These are beautiful! Glad you enjoyed your time coloring and binge watching.
Thanks Lisa. I got some good tips from binge watching. I’m anxious for the new series to start.
Your coloring is perfect and to divide to enhance is even better.
Thanks Bonnie. It’s always good when you can stretch images to more than one card.

Thanks Johanna. I’m working on another piece and will probably do the same layout. It is fun to color even if it takes a while.
Beautiful cards and love your coloring on you gerbera daisies.
Thanks Gayle. I had fun coloring it.
These are all so beautiful. I can’t imagine how long it took for all that beautiful coloring.
Thanks Gerry. It was fun and worth the effort.
Judy, these are great! With all of that coloring, I’m glad you got more than one card out of it.
