Basically, I covered a box, decorating it for a birthday. I used patterned paper, cardstock pieces, and a stamp set all from Gina K Designs. This is all from the Birthday Hoot set and matching papers.
You can see two of the sides that have added items. The other two sides have the ribbon and nothing else. I do not remember covering a box before, so this is new. Rather than do much to the box itself, I placed the decorations where it wouldn’t interfere with the lid closing. This was fun and different.

Wow – this is so cool and so attractive. Love the colours you have paper pieced into the quilt die cut. So pretty.
I love how challenges get us out of our norm and into things we would not normally do. This is so fun and festive.
Great job on this, Lisa. It’s great that you used the patterned paper and matching card all together, but in different ways.
WOW!!! Love the quilt design and the color combo. With this box the recipient won’t even care if there is anything inside. 😉
