Framed Sentiment

My card today is for the Double D Challenge to Focus on the Sentiment.  Still creating Halloween and pulled out the Inkadinkadoo Trick or Treat stamp set again which had the largest sentiment in my collection.  I stamped it in GKD’s white pigment ink which is not really a stark white but hopefully has a more spooky affect to it.  Our buddy, Johanna, gifted me some die cut frames and have finally been able to put them to good use.  I was hoping for a little abstract affect to go along with my spooky sentiment :).

I didn’t want to cut off any of the frames so I mounted this on a 5×7 card, covering another layer of card stock with my sparkle mesh Dollar Store find.

Here’s the link for the Double D Challenge

and here’s my card.  Thanks for looking.

  1. Wow – this is great Gayle. I would never have thought to use the frames this way – I will now though. Love the colour, the layout, oh what the heck I just love everything about it.

    1. Thanks so much for the ribbon frames, Johanna, I sponged some extra color over the printed frames but I was pleased with the outcome of the card.

    1. Thanks, Jan, I’ve been on a mission to create my Halloween cards and was so happy to put the ribbon frames that were gifted to me to good use.

    1. Thanks, Golda, the frames really all seemed to work together and I was hoping they would look abstract for my card.
