I am using the Merry and Bright stamp set from Gina K Designs for the holly on this card and Christmas Instawreath from Maymay Made It for the sentiment. I followed along with one of Gina’s videos. This is a very flat card so it will be easy for mailing.
I got inspiration from Mary Fish at StampinPretty.com. I used her card idea to create this card, along with the coloring of the mouse. Stamps used are Merry Mice, retired from Stampin’Up, Music Background, retired from Gina K Designs. The white cardstock is Gina Designs heavy base weight and layering weight, the red is Cherry Cobler from Stampin’Up. It is a perfect match for GKD Cherry Red, which is what I used to stamp the greeting. All coloring is Copic markers.
I really like this layout. I searched Google for ideas for this stamp set. It is one I received from Mom’s estate and this is the first time inking it. Looks to be a fun one.
I used the Elegant Asters stamp set and dies, filler from Something Good, and the sentiment from Stippled Blossoms, all by Gina K Designs. I stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Gina K layering white paper, colored with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers. I layered with black paper from Hobby Lobby and my card base is Primrose Petals cardstock from SU, retired.
It took me a whole month to get inspired to make a vintage card. I used the stamp set Vintage Rose by Gina K Designs along with her Ivory Cardstock in both heavy weight and layering weight. The roses are colored with Spectrum Noir markers in the dark red colors. I sponged on a bit of brown tones to darken the embossed background and also the roses. I left the greeting off of the front and will decide what to use it for at a later date.
Stamps set used: Blossom by Joy Clair, Ink used: Versamark, Paper used: GKD Grass Green, Fresh Asparagus, Used Spellbinders Label Number 9 die, Tombow marker #177
This card will be entered in the Mod Squad Challenge. I struggle with using green, so I pulled out every green piece of paper I owned, then ink, then decided to keep it simple and go with Versamark. I do like the cactus in this stamp set. I think they might be fun to color.
