Merry Mice

I am playing along with the Christmas in July challenge at the Mod Squad Challenge Blog: http://modsquadchallenge.com/christmas-in-july-christmas-theme/

Merry Mice

I got inspiration from Mary Fish at StampinPretty.com. I used her card idea to create this card, along with the coloring of the mouse. Stamps used are Merry Mice, retired from Stampin’Up, Music Background, retired from Gina K Designs. The white cardstock is Gina Designs heavy base weight and layering weight, the red is Cherry Cobler from Stampin’Up. It is a perfect match for GKD Cherry Red, which is what I used to stamp the greeting. All coloring is Copic markers.

I really like this layout. I searched Google for ideas for this stamp set. It is one I received from Mom’s estate and this is the first time inking it. Looks to be a fun one.

    1. Thanks Diana. I found the music background difficult to stamp even with the Misti. I have probably used a different ink before.

  1. I have the hardest time with out of season creating, but you seem to be able to swing right into it. You are so right, the layout is perfect compliment to the focal coloring.
