Hello and welcome. Finally, I got started on Valentine cards. This one is for our 5 year old great-granddaughter. My first thought was to use a digital image and color it, but my fingers were not cooperating so I used computer clip art. Die cut hearts are Sweet & Sassy Framelits by Stampin Up, corner hearts are a small hand punch. All hearts are popped up.
Thanks for stopping by your visits mean a lot to me. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
Sending a tribe of monkeys with some birthday wishes to my cousin. My card today uses my most used jungle/safari theme stamp set from a My Monthly Hero release from a number of years ago, Taylored Expressions Fineline Vine background stamp, SimonSaysStamp Large Happy Birthday die set.
Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our youngest great-granddaughter who loves dinosaurs. The pp was found online, dinosaur is computer clip art fussy cut and popped up, word bubbles are from and online coloring page, also fussy cut and popped up. Inside sentiment is paraphrased from a couple different ones. Since her dad and maternal grandpa always call her Bernadette, but everyone else calls her Bernie, I added her name both ways.
Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate your visits. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
I have been participating is an alphabet challenge this year. I get to select my destination and this week’s letter is E. With my husband’s help, I chose the Emerald Coast of Florida. Seahorses live in the Panhandle area of Florida, which is in the Emerald Coast.
The stencil used is from LDRS Creative, called Under the Sea. I used an assortment of Lawn Fawn inks on the stencil, placing the stencil on Bristol Smooth paper. The seahorses, greeting, and water droplets are all from Lawn Fawn Seahorsin’ Around set. I had these seahorses colored and cut out sitting in my stamp pocket waiting to be used.
The challenge is Anything Goes this time. I like how I managed to use a Lawn Fawn set.
I have been busy recently taking care of household things, as well as creating this month’s cards for the Splitcoaststampers.com Dirty Dozen monthly reveal. I participated in January’s challenge which will be live on January 15. You can view the cards there, if you join the fan club.
Thanks for sharing in my card. I am enjoying this challenge as it is stretching my creativity finding a destination that I can create something for.
Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for a very good longtime friend. As much as I try, I just can’t get away from the fractured design. Again, pp and sentiment were found online. Center diamond die cut is Stitched Squares by Die-namics. After making so many this is the easiest card design for me to make. My motto is to always take the easy way out. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by your visits are greatly appreciated. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
A color challenge with a dreamy mood board of the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. Beautiful! I had to restrain myself from adding warm tone colors on my card but finally decided on a variety of blue shades, a touch of green and some light lavender for a touch of purple/pink. My focal image is Spellbinders Circle Sketch clear stamp that was white heat embossed. Gina K Designs sentiment stamped on glitter cardstock, Taylored Expressions frame in frame 2 cutting plate and layered on a dark blue card base. If I can make one I should make two. Here’s the second card with a few tweaks.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe. 6 inches of snow over the weekend and tomorrow we are expecting 2-3 inches of rain and high winds. Oh my Oh my!!
Double D Challenges is celebrating their 8th birthday/anniversary with a mood board representing the traditional gift of bronze. DCWV’s The Natural stack provided my background patterned paper, the Taylored Expressions frame and bow were made by copper embossing a piece of cardstock. Since my card will be given to our granddaughter who is turning 6 in a week, I needed a cute factor so found the SimonSaysStamp Party Like a Puffin stamp and die set.
This is for the new Word Power Challenge to use a word as the focal point of the card. My card uses the Hello Pop Up Die by Altenew. The word is cut into a piece of pattern paper from Parisian Garden by Gina K Designs. The card base is Lovely Lavender with Wild Wisteria behind the letters. This is a fun die and perfect for a number of occasions.
Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for my b-i-l who lives in AZ. For the background paper I Googled AZ desert background paper. It is amazing what’s up there in cyber space. The cake holding birthday boys are from a birthday border paper that I cropped out just one image then sized and copied it. Die cut is Stitched Squares by Die-namics.
Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your visits. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
