Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our son & d-i-l. Their anniversary is the day after his birthday.
While going through my stash I found this scrap of pp that I thought would make a nice anniversary card. Card base was cut on the Silhouette, circles are Spellbinders scalloped and classic circles. Sentiment & clip art roses were printed on the computer. There was just enough of the pearly trim in my stash to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
Hello and welcome. After seeing some pinwheel cards on Pinterest I thought I’d give it a try. Patterned paper is from a 6×6 book from Stampin Up. Squares were cut using Stampin Up’s paper trimmer, center circle is a no name stitched circles die. Sentiment stamp is Gina K’s Birthday Blessings, fussy cut & popped up.
This is for our son. Inside sentiment is very simple… “Enjoy the last year of your 50’s”. Next year’s card will be really fun. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe. Happy Easter.
Hello and welcome. Our grandson-in-law’s grandma passed away this week, so this is the card I made. Die cuts are Flourish Thinlits by Stampin Up, embossing folders are both from Cuttlebug. Sentiment was printed on the computer, and I added score lines on top and bottom of panel. Inside sentiment is a combination of 2 different sentiments found on Pinterest. I don’t think I ever embossed the inside of a card before, but I think it adds a lot here.
Just a fun little note… our granddaughter told me how she loved her grandma-in-law and thought of her as her grandma Gerry away from home. She is so sweet.
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy and safe.
I made an Easter card with daffodils. This will be entered in Shopping Our Stash and also on Splitcoast Stampers in the Challenge Your Stash and March to the Beat challenge.
The daffodils are from a Simon Says Stamp set called Joys of Spring. The Happy Easter greeting came from a Your Next Stamp set. The patterned paper is Echo Park ad the green print is from Memento. The cardbase is from my stash and matched well with everything.
I am the hostess for both Splitcoast Stampers challenges for the month of March. I sent each person in the March to the Beat challenge two pieces of the stamped daffodil image, several greetings from the same set and a few more. They also received a piece of this green patterned paper as well as a yellow piece. It is fun to see how each person uses the same image differently. The Challenge Your Stash group will each be making Easter cards as that is the theme I chose. I look forward to seeing the variety.
This is my other daffodil card that I created a few weeks ago. I wish each of my Buddies a very Happy Easter. I will not be sending cards as I just didn’t get them made. I have these two and I think I will send them to my two aunts, who should receive them my Easter.
Hello and welcome. I wanted to make a golf card so I searched Pinterest for ideas. The sentiment was printed on the computer and the golf balls are clip art. Corner balls that say ‘PAR-TEE time’ were hand punched and backed with a black circle. Die used is Stitched Squares by Die-namics. I wanted to add a little texture but the square shape didn’t fit any of my ef,. so using the Stampin Up’s score buddy, I hand scored it. If you really look at it, you’ll see plenty places where the stylus slipped. lol

I saw this idea on the Fans of Taylored Expressions Facebook group and knew I needed to CASE it. The card was made using TE’s Fluttering Friends Embossing Folder and Stencil. This was part of the recent Virtual StampJoy 2024 that I participated in but instead of using the stencils I just swiped white pigment ink over the raised embossed areas. Sentiment is SSS’s Sweet Tweets which was still on my desk (lol) and TE’s Frame in Frame 3 cutting plates, butterfly is Tim Holtz. I made several of these in spring colors and still haven’t decided which color I liked the best. This was is going to my sister in FL because she likes pink.
My card today uses some Taylored Expressions products including The Thing with Feathers stamp set, Scenic Sentiments, and Diaganol Stitch Rectangle Stacklets as well as SSS Seafoam and Surf inks. This card of support will go to a dear girlfriend who is waiting for test results on GrandBaby to come.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. My “extended” birthday will be complete on Tuesday when Will and I go out for “linner” at The Cheesecake Factory. LOL…..before I know it I will be getting ready for the next one if I keep on celebrating!!! Have a great day and thanks for stopping in for a peek. It’s chilly but sunny today after a day of rain and more rain. Take care and be safe.
I collected all of my supplies, set the timer and began making my card. When I went to post it to a speed themed challenge, I realized that theme was not only speed but flowers, too! So moving on, I realized since I did use a stencil for those little tiny bunny tails it would fit in with the Stencil Fun Challenge. My card uses Taylored Expressions stamp and stencil combo “Be Hoppy” The stamp makes the background and the added stencil adds the tails which I inked in multiple color inks. Using TE’s Postage Stamp Stackletts to die cut the bunny background and die cut the Fancy Happy Easter word sentiment and shadow dies which is a SimonSaysStamp die will complete my card.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.
P.S. I did make this card under 10 minutes, barely, but still under 10 not back to the drawing board to figure out how to do a card under 10 which includes flowers!!
Hello and welcome. No more Easter cards this year. I always enjoy making milestone birthday cards with the age very prominent. Papers are The Paper Studio. Number was cut from glitter paper on the Silhouette. Sentiment was printed on the computer. Very easy peasy.
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you and your time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
