Thinking Of You

One of my favorite GKD stamp sets is Bold & Blooming  which is going out to someone special.  I also used GKD’s Dazzling Dahlia for the sentiment.  I think I could have used a larger sentiment  to fill in more of the white space area.  Card base is blue lagoon and layered with turquoise sea and white card stock.  I stamped this with my favorite go  VersaFine Onyx Black ink to which I added clear embossing powder and heat set ,added a few sequins and my Stampin up! colored pencils.

Easter 2019

A selection of my Easter cards this year include a well used set from Pretty Pink Posh.  I love the frame die which cut beautifully and the egg designs…whew a lot of coloring for me but they were fun to create.  I also have a sweet little Easter Lucy from C.C. Designs and an old stand by from GKD’s Asela Hopkins Chocolate Bunnies. A peek-a-boo egg card for some little ones was also Pretty Pink Posh.

April Showers

I’m finally getting around to posting some more cards and would like to begin with this one featuring my newest stencil thanks to our wonderful Stamping Buddies Bonnie.  The image is from GKD’s Blooming with Blessings stamp set as well as the card stock and ink.  I also used Hero Arts’s Happy Stamp and Cut set layering it and offsetting as well as coating the Happy with some glossy accents.  My puddle is glue and glitter.

Gold Glitter Easter Card

Used Gold Glitter Gel on sunrise stencil. Using brushes with Oxide inks, swiped out from corner. Ran a baby wipe over gel to clean off ink, the gel holds the glitter – none on the baby wipe. Sentiment is from Springtime Baskets – Claire’s Set – on vellum in Stormy Sky ink, mounted on a scrap of card stock colored with oxide ink.

Hello

Stamped the image from Wild Roses in Stormy Sky – one of my favorite new colors – and colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. Sentiment is from Rose Bouquet, again stamped in Stormy Sky on vellum. Butterfly is Memory Box die cut from vellum.

Fairy Fun Embossing

Had a lot of fun with this one!  Lots of embossing and water coloring involved.

3-17-19 Embossed Fairy

Both the background stamp, and the fairy set are from Hero Arts.

Thanks for spending some time with me!  Now, go enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Stenciled Sketch

Definitely had fun with this card.  I used a Diamond Stencil from Hero Arts, some Spring Green Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, a few die cuts and a sentiment from the MFT Queen for a Day set.

3-15-19 Stenciled Shaker

Yep, it’s a shaker card.  Love making shaker cards!  My friend had some “sand” embossing powder from Hero Arts that I used.  That stuff is amazing.

My friend and I were showing another friend lots of fun ways to make cards.  She just retired, so wanted to give her something to do that is fun and encourages her, as well as those she shares her cards with.  Definitely a great time.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today!

Stencil Challenge / Diana Scott

Stenciled this using the brushes and GK stencil – Florals in Dusty Rose and Fresh Asparagus. The Spring die cut was from my stash. Sending to my Sister in Illinois as she is so tired of the ice and snow!
