Hurt Feelings

Time again for a chuckle of the month for dear old sister. Sentiment “I always laugh when people try to hurt my feelings…as if I have any”. was found online, and image is online clip art.  Ef used is from SU but unfortunately, I don’t remember the name. Before embossing the background layer, I cut the circle using Spellbinders Classic Circle die. Sentiment tags were cut on my SU trimmer, I hand cut the ends and popped the strips up.

Performance Upgrade

Glad you stopped by. Today’s card is for our s-i-l who is having his second hip replacement. To get ideas for a hip replacement card I went to Pinterest and found one with this sentiment. Color combination came about when I saw the color challenge at JUGS. It doesn’t show in the photo, but I scored all 4 sides of the black layer and corners on the white layer.

This will be entered at https://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot.com/2022/04/just-us-girls-628.html

Thanks for spending some time with me. Stay healthy & safe.

Easter Treat Box

Hello and welcome. I want to wish you all a Happy Easter.
This treat box is for our neighbors 2 year old grandson. Every time he’s at grandma & grandpa’s he has to come to see Doug & Gerry, could that be because I always have a treat for him???
The box is from the Silhouette. Instead of stamping & coloring, I took the easy way out and used a clip art bunny and fussy cut it. Corner dots are a small circle hand punch, punched from pp. Inside has light green tissue paper that I cut the top edge with a MS scissors. I’m not sure but I think the scissors is called a fringe cutter.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Easter Wishes

Hello and welcome. Today Vegas is definitely the windy city. I was almost blown over walker and all.
Today’s card is for our 24 year old granddaughter. I usually make some kind of fun fold for her but this year she gets a “plain” old card. Pp was found online, sentiment was printed on the computer, ovals are Spellbinders Petite oval & Petite scalloped petite oval. After rounding the corners of the pp I edged all around with a Copic marker.

Thanks for stopping by.

Easter Dude

This Easter card is for our almost 13 year old great-grandson. Image is from an online coloring page, colored with Copics. The yellow of the shirt and egg are really much lighter in real life. Blue background was run through the basket weave ef by Sizzix, the double layer piece was cut on my SU cutter and I used a small circle hand punch to punch out the corners. Sentiment oval is Stitched Ovals by Die-namics, sentiment was printed on the computer
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Running Bunny

Today’s card is for our 4 year old great-grandson. This entire card is a Silhouette cut file. Bunny is cut from textured cs. And as usual I couldn’t resist the googly eye. Since it was all cut on the Silhouette it was just a matter of putting it all together. Quite easy.

Thanks for taking time to look. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Masculine Easter

Welcome. I found myself in need of two masculine Easter cards, one for our 22 year old grandson and one for our16 year old great-grandson so I made two of these.

Card base is white cs, gray layer was run through a crimper, background paper for the bunny is soft birch found online. Bunny is from an online coloring page colored with Copics, sentiment was printed on the computer, eggs are online clip art and fussy cut. Very quick and simple.

Thanks for stopping in. Comments are always welcome.

Happy Easter

Today’s card will probably go to our son & d-i-l. Basket and eggs are from the Silhouette, eggs are cut from various scraps of pp. Grass is a MS punch, soft sky background paper was found online. After running the basket through a basket weave ef I thought the white still looked a little blah, so I sponged it with Bashful Blue ink. To my surprise I kind of like it. The unevenly place flowers are stickers from my stash. The first flower went on perfectly but the second dropped a tad too low but trying to move it would make it pretty messy, so I just left it. It doesn’t show well in the photo, but there is a shear white bow in the top middle of the basket. It’s very noticeable in real life. Sentiment strip was printed on the computer and the little eggs are clip art.

Thanks for stopping by and your comments are greatly appreciated. Stay healthy & safe.
