Thank You

Hello and welcome. I hope your Christmas plans weren’t too messed up from the all the nasty weather and travel cancelations.

Today’s card is for our neighbor’s son & d-i-l. They sent us a very nice meat & cheese box from a WI dairy as a thank you for helping out their mom. She lives alone so we do what we can to help her.

The wavy lines were cut on the Silhouette, swirly is Swirly Scribbles Thinlits by SU, sentiment is a stamp from SU’s Daisy Delight stamp set. It would be so nice if all cards were this quick and easy. But then, I really like a little challenge.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking to the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Hexagon Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our granddaughter’s boyfriend. Actually, he’s more than a boyfriend, he’s been part of the family for several years. The card shape is from the Silhouette. Colors were decided when I found this plaid pp in my stash. While I was placing the pp I saw the two rectangle frames laying on my desk just like this and I thought that might look kind of cool. The letters were printed on the computer, fussy cut, then I added Glossy Accents. Corner gems are from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by I look forward to your visits. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Merry Christmas!

Milestone Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for one of our granddaughter’s. Background was embossed with the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday ef. The 30 with question marks was printed on the computer and cut out with Stitched Circle die by Die-namic’s. Corner circly things are from a small hand punch. Inside sentiment “It seems like just yesterday you were in your 20’s.” After I had come up with the idea of the number 30 with question marks around it that brilliant sentiment just popped into my head in the middle of the night. lol

Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to your visits. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Happy 4th Birthday

Hello and welcome. Sorry it’s been a while since my last post but I’m back now.

Today’s card is for one of our great-granddaughter’s. While trying to decide what to do I thought what little girl doesn’t like unicorns. Unicorn is from and online coloring page colored with Copic’s. The background paper was found online. I masked the unicorn before printing the background and sentiment. For a little sparkle I dropped some Diamond Stickles on a piece of paper and used a toothpick to ad random drops of glitter. When you see it in the light the background just twinkles.

Merry Christmas Stocking

https://cyhtp.blogspot.com/2022/12/anything-goes-embossing-with-twist-of.html

Hello and welcome. I know I am way behind with Christmas cards but I’m way behind with a lot of things.

This design was pretty easy. Stockings are from the Silhouette, corner strips were cut on my paper trimmer, sentiment was printed on the computer and punched with SU’s word window and modern label punches. Background ef used is Snowflakes by The Paper Studio, stockings ef used is Dots by SU.

The layout on the right is what I did first then wondered how it would work with the layout on the right. I couldn’t decide which one I liked best so I made half & half (5 each). I’m entering this in CYHTP challenge. I’m also entering in the Double D challenge https://daranddiane.blogspot.com/2022/12/christmas-stockings-challenge.html

Thanks for stopping by your visits mean a lot to me. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Masculine Foil Birthday

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our grandson’s 23rd birthday. After seeing several cards made with aluminum foil I thought that would make a fun card for a young man. I slightly crumbled the foil then ran it through SU’s Seaside ef. Rectangles are from Spellbinders, band is strips cut with my paper cutter. The 4 gems on the sentiment piece are from my stash. Corner spots are hand punched then covered with Glossy Accents. This was very quick and easy to do.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate your visits. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Split Circle Christmas

Hello and welcome.

Because I really like the split circle cards I’ve been seeing, I really wanted to make a Christmas one. White layer is embossed with Cuttlebug Snow Flakes ef. Circles and sentiment dies are Spellbinders. Sentiment was cut from white glitter paper, gems are from my stash. Hubby really liked this one so I guess it’s OK.

Thanks for stopping by your visit means a lot to me. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Hello and welcome. I hope those of you on the east coast are staying safe from the heavy snow.

This card will be entered in CYHTP with twist of wreath. Ef is by Tim Holtz, wreath is Spellbinders Scalloped and Classic Circles. Bow is computer clip art and fussy cut, gems are from my stash. Banner was in my digi stamp file and fussy cut, sentiment was done on the computer. I lightly sponged a darker gray on the embossed layer. Sorry the gems are kind of wonky spaced.

Thankful For

Hello and welcome.

Today’s card is dear-old-sister’s chuckle of the month. Sentiment “I’m thankful for my family, friends, this meal and… that I saw which part of the turkey the dog was licking.” was found somewhere online. Pp was found online, dies used were bought from Amazon. When I die cut the pp I used a 5 /4 x 4″ piece of paper and was able to use the frame for the inside.

Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your visits. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
