FOILED CHRISTMAS

Hello and welcome. While perusing Pinterest I came across a video to emboss foil and I just had to give it a try.

Cardstock and pp are from Stampin Up, scalloped circle is Spellbinders Scalloped Circles, sentiment circle is online clip art punched with a Stampin Up circle punch. Circle is popped up. Embossing folder is Snowflakes by the Paper Studio.

merry christmas

Hello and welcome.

The Detailed Santa Thinlits die from Stampin Up is one of my very favorite Christmas dies. Stars were cut from white glitter paper, sentiment die is Spellbinders Holiday Sentiments. Sentiment was cut twice for a little stability then I used Clear Wink Of Stella for a little shine.

merry CHRISTMAS

Hello and welcome.

Today’s card is a CASE of an entry I saw on Cardz 4 Guyz so I didn’t think it was right for me to enter this one. The red panel was run through a Tim Holtz bricked embossing folder, pp is from the Silhouette. Sentiment is Spellbinders Holiday Sentiments. To make the sentiment more stable and add a little dimension I first cut it in black then textured white cs. I put some adhesive backed paper to the cs before cutting it.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe. Those of you in the high temp areas stay inside.

wonky squares

Hello and welcome. Feels good to be back to creating after a wonderful visit with family.

Today’s card is for our grandson-in-law. Not knowing what to do I finally decided on using wonky squares from the Silhouette. Card base is 5×5 and it took a few tries for me to get the wonky squares the right size. Pp was found online, sentiment circle was also found online but it had a swirly center that I changed to the number. Being the nasty person that I am I just had to show his age. Circle is popped up. When I set the wonky squares on the card it looked like it needed something else, so I decided to add a little texture using a crimper.

Happy 6th birthday

Hello and welcome.

Today’s card is for our youngest great-grandson. Background panel was embossed with Cuttlebug’s Happy Birthday ef. Patterned paper was found online. Large number 6 is from the Silhouette, small circles were punched from the pp. All images are popped up. This went together in a very short time.

I won’t be posting again very soon, we’re going to MN to celebrate our 60th anniversary with our kids. We’ll also be celebrating our daughter & s-i-l’s anniversary and our daughter’s 50th birthday. There will be a lot celebrating going on. Lots of fun time catching up with kids, grandkids & great grandkids.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

she sells SEASHELLS

Hello and welcome.

Oh my, looking at this photo I realize I spelled seashells wrong. I’m thinking that’s ok because each line has 4 words. (I can justify any mistake).

Background paper is was found online, umbrella is from the Silhouette, beach babe is from an online coloring page colored with Copic’s, earrings and bracelets have Gold Stickles, seashell bucket is computer clip art, sentiment was printed on the computer. Umbrella is popped up.

boiling pot

Hello and welcome.

Card base is Stampin Up’s Cajun Crase, for the background paper I Googled patriotic background papers. To kind of spook it up a bit I used a cotton ball and black stamp pad. Sentiment was printed with my Hallmark card program. Boiling pot with skeleton and fire border are from the Silhouette. Fire is popped up, bubbles are Opal Rounds from Stampin Up, and of course I just had to use googly eyes. I’m not real crazy about it but I think it’s ok.

anniversary fun fold

Hello and welcome.

Today’s card, for our daughter & s-i-l, is a CASE of Lisa K’s Apple Fun Fold card. Card stock is from Gina K, patterned papers were found online, die cuts are stitched squares & stitched circles from Die-namics. For the sentiment I Googled Anniversary script clip art. At first I thought it might be a little weird having the circle on the square but I like it. And so did hubby.

This will be entered in two challenges. JUGS using pastels and Cards 4 Gals more than one fold.

faux lattice anniversary

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is another experiment for me. While going through some You Tube videos for lattice cards I came across a Faux Lattice video by Rita Holmes. Sorry, I didn’t save the page and now I can’t find it again.

The double-sided pp used is from a (not so recent) 6×6 Stampin Up book. Stamped die cut image is Gina K’s Tropical Blooms. My not so good coloring was done with Copic and Stampin Up’s Stamp and Blend markers. Sentiment was printed on the computer. Not really knowing what to do for a little interest on the top panel I tried using a small circle punch to punch out the center of the flowers on the scrap piece of the floral side of the pp. I think they look ok. I like the idea of the pp on the top inside flap.

Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate your visits. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
