Hello and welcome. The pinwheel design has become one of my favorites for masculine cards. Embossing folder used for the background is from Sizzix but unfortunately, I don’t know what it’s called. Patterned paper is Stampin Up. Center circle is hand punched and covered with Glossy Accents. Banners for computer printed sentiment were cut on my paper trimmer.

Hello and welcome. Yay!! I’ve got good jump on Christmas cards this year (that is really unusual).

Embossed background folder is a no name one I bought on Amazon, ornament is Holiday Ornaments Thinlits from SU. After foiling the ornament with the Mini Mink I embossed it with a snowflake ef by The Paper Studio. For the ornament top I fussy cut a piece of gold glitter paper, cord is from my stash. At first I wasn’t too sure about it, but I like it.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is the first sympathy card for a pet that I’ve made. The other day a good friend was telling me that she had to put her pug, Buttercup, down. When she was telling me she was so sad and crying I just had to make her a card.

The background paper has been in my stash for a long time. Pug image is computer clip art fussy cut and adhered to cardstock. Sentiment was printed on the computer. The focal cardstock piece looked kind of plain so added 1/4″ background paper strips to each side.

Hello and welcome. I just couldn’t resist using this online coloring page image again. Background paper was found online. Sentiment was printed in my Hallmark card program, bats are Hallmark clip art. I kind of messed up the bat’s eyes by using a toothpick to add a little red Stickles. Image was colored with Copic’s and popped up. I actually think this is kind of cool.

As usual, background paper was found online, ghost is from an online coloring page colored with Copic’s, and fussy cut. Ghost is on a wobbler. I did add some Wink of Stella to the yellow pumpkin light and ghost’s eyes. Sentiment was printed on the computer, cut on my paper trimmer. For the edges of the label, I used Tim Holtz edge rougher (sorry, I forgot what it’s actually called).

Recently I bought this no name embossing folder on Amazon and thought I better use it. I’ve had this ornament punch from Stampin Up forever. After printing the sentiment and punching it out I punched just the top from glitter paper to add. String is just scrapbook thread. It doesn’t show much in the photo but I added Wink of Stella to the ball to get e little shine. Bottom border is computer clip art that also has Wink of Stella on it. I can’t decide if I like it or not.

Hello and welcome. We just had a short but fun 2 day visit from our daughter & s-i-l celebrating our anniversaries. They had 28, we had 61. Now back to the craft room.

Being so pleased with the wobbler snowman card I recently made, I thought it would be fun to do a Halloween ghost one. Background, bats, pumpkins and ghost were all found online. I pulled all elements into my Hallmark card program and printed it off. I see now that I should have put the ghost a little higher. It’s been fun making the ghost dance.

Hello and welcome. I foolishly thought working on Christmas cards would make this heat more tolerable—I was wrong.

Looking on Pinterest I saw a wobble head snowman card that was from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kit. Since I did not have that kit, I had to improvise. Background paper was found online and snowman is from an online coloring page, colored with Copic’s. I separated the head from the body then added a wobbly to the head. The added snowflakes are from small hand punch that I added Wink of Stella to for a little sparkle. Sentiment was printed on the computer.

Hello and welcome. Time again for dear old sister’s chuckle card.

Background paper was found online, image is computer clip art fussy cut and popped up, scalloped circle is Spellbinders. After using a small hand punch for the stars, I added Wink of Stella just to the area of cardstock that would show behind them. Quote, “The best part of waking up… is still a mystery to me” was found on Pinterest.
