Hello and welcome. Time again for d-o-s’s chuckle of the month. The sentiment “If you had to choose between drinking wine every day or being skinny, which would you choose? Red or white?” was found online. D-o-s chose red. Pp was in my stash, die used is a no name I bought on Amazon, wine glasses are computer clip art.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our favorite breakfast server. She’s expecting her first baby and when she and her husband first got together, they were big fans of the X-Files series and decided if they ever had a boy his name would be Fox. The gift we’re giving them is a stuffed fox I had a friend crochet, so I wanted to bring the fox theme to the card.
Pp was found online, template for the boy’s dungaree card was found on Pinterest. I was having issues with my Silhouette, so I used the template and fussy cut the card pieces. I embossed the strapped overall to give them a little interest. Buttons are a hand punch then I poked tiny holes in them. Pockets are 1/2″ squares that I rounded the bottom corners using a nail file, and I did the same to the baby fox square. Baby fox was found online, Since the way the pp was cut the foxes in the paper didn’t show so I cut pieces with the fox on them for the pocket tops.

Hello and welcome. While thinking about making a Thanksgiving card I came across this piece of pp and thought that would be perfect. Strip and leaves were embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folders. Sentiment was printed on the computer and cut with Stitched Rectangles by Die-namics. The punched leaves were in my fall stash.

Hello and welcome. When I saw this quote, “Sometimes you just need a little group therapy with your besties.” I knew I had to use it somehow. I Googled witches drinking wine clip art and found this photo. After sizing it in my Hallmark card program I printed the quote. The top line doesn’t show well in the photo, but it does show quite well in real life. For a little more interest, I embossed the top card base with a Sizzix ef. Sorry I don’t know the name of it. I wasn’t too sure about it till hubby saw it and liked it.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for my sister-in-law. After seeing so many cards using scraps I decided it was time to try one. Circle was cut with Stitched Circles die by Die-namics. Before embossing with a Darice birch tree ef I printed sentiment on the computer. Circle and embossed layer were edged with a Copic marker. Surprisingly I kind of like it.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our oldest granddaughter.
All I had in mind when I started it was to make it fallish. Patterned paper was found online, die cuts are a no name die set I bought on Amazon. Sentiment piece is popped up and the corner leaves are from a small hand punch with Wink of Stella added. I’m very pleased with it.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for very good friend who likes my snarkyness. I recently posted a card with this sentiment, “You are far too special for just a birthday card so, Please do keep the envelope too.” My niece loved it.
Most of the cards with this layout on Pinterest had ribbon where I have the border. Embossing folder is Cuttlebug, border punch is an old Stampin Up (probably been retired for a long time). Gems are from my stash and I rounded 2 corners for a little interest.

Hello and welcome. Our sweet breakfast server is expecting her first baby, a boy. Both her and her husband were big fans of X-Files and decided early on that if they ever had a boy his name would be Fox. Since a dear friend of mine crochets and makes stuffed animals, I asked her to make a fox for me to give our server. Before making the card, I went online and found this square yarn border. That’s when I decided to make a 5×5 square card. Before printing it I added the thank you. After taking a picture of the fox I fussy cut it and stuck it in the middle. Hubby even thinks it cute.

Hello and welcome. My BFF since third grade asked me to make a congratulations card for her grandson-in-law. He just passed the test to become a US citizen. Pinterest had several layouts that would work and I liked this one the best. Card base is white. Top embossed layer backed by a dark blue layer, Embossing folder used is from Stampin Up, but I don’t remember the name. Sentiment was printed on the computer. Sentiment tag and red strips were cut on my paper trimmer and I hand cut the ends of the sentiment tag. Stars were cut on the Silhouette.
