Egg Bunnies

Hello and welcome. Today’s cards are for our 2 great-granddaughters, a 3- & 6-year-old. Background papers were found online, bunnies are computer clip art, eggs are from the Silhouette. Sentiment on both were printed on the computer. The yellow one was punched with Stampin Up’s word window and modern label punches, pink one was cut on my paper trimmer. Corners on the pink sentiment background strips were kind of rounded with a nail file. Eggs were embossed with Stampin Up’s dots ef. Fussy cutting the bunnies was kind of a challenge because Mr. Arthritis decided to stiffen my fingers today.

Bunny In grass

Hello and welcome. Finally, I got started on Easter cards for this year. The front panel, bunny & bow were cut on the Silhouette. Blue background is a small piece of paper from my stash. Grass is a Martha Stewert punch, tulips are from a very old small punch, eye is just a small hand punched circle. Panel is embossed with Stampin Up’s dots ef. For a little interest I ran the bow through the Paper Studio’s striped ef. The paper the bunny was cut from is white with kind of swirls throughout so it doesn’t look as start as white cs does. I was quite surprised to find that in my stash.

With Sympathy

Hello and welcome. Being in need of a sympathy card I went to Pinterest for ideas. I really liked the cards using this Tim Holtz Thinlits die so decided to go with that. Sentiment was printed on the computer, butterfly is from the Silhouette, gems are from my stash. This was really pretty easy and I’m very satisfied with it.

Pocket Birthday

Hello and welcome. I’m back today with another card made with my daughter. As a welcome to our daughter, I made her a pocket easel card and she liked it so much she wanted to make one for her daughter’s birthday. Background paper was in my stash, heart is Sweet & Sassy Framelits by Stampin up. Sentiment was printed on the computer and cut with my paper trimmer. She added Wink of Stella to the heart. For a personal touch, Lisa always puts a handwritten message inside.

Wedding Card

Hello and welcome. After a wonderful week with our daughter, I’m back to posting.

While she was here, she wanted to make a wedding card for her daughter who’s getting married this summer. After looking through Pinterest we came up with this design. Embossing folder is from Stampin Up, hearts are Sweet & Sassy Framelits by Stampin Up. Blue hearts have Wink of Stella for a little sparkle. Holes around the white hearts were done by hand. Since I didn’t have the right shade of blue cs for the flowers I found a blue gradient background paper on Google. Flowers were punched with a small hand punch then layered. Tiny blue gems are added to the flowers, leaves are some leftovers laying around. Her part of making this card was adding the Wink of Stella, poking the holes and punching the flowers.

Strawberry Shortcake Easel

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is a welcome card for our daughter who will be here tonight and stay a whole week. She teaches at a private school and has a two-week spring break

When she was little, she and her friends loved to play with Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Patterned paper and popped up strawberry were found online. As you can see the lighting wasn’t the best for my photos. I think she’ll get a chuckle out of this.

Scored Thanks

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is a CASE of one Lisa K posted recently. You can see Lisa’s card here https://stampbuddies.blog/2025/03/09/patterned-paper-hello/

Years ago, Stampin Up had a diagonal scoring piece that fit on their Simply Scored Scoring Tool and that’s what I used to score this card. Unfortunately, the opposite direction score lines don’t show in the photo. Patterned paper was left over from another card I made recently. Since I don’t have a sentiment stamp small enough to fit in one of the squares, I used a die cut word. The die was gifted to me by one of our Stamp Buddies. Even though my brain wouldn’t compute Lisa’s measurements I kind of figured it out and I’m pleased with the end result.

Fault Line Birthday

Hello and welcome. After seeing some fault line cards on Pinterest I just had to try one. Since I’m in need of a masculine card I went with browns. Cardstock in Stampin Up, pp was found online. Dots are from a hand punch, and I put Glossy Accents on them, sentiment is from Gina K’s Birthday Blessings stamp set. I’m not really sure about it but maybe it will grow on me.

Happy Anniversary

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our son & d-i-l’s 33rd anniversary. Their anniversary is the day after his birthday, he’s never forgotten it. lol

Patterned paper was found online, hearts are Sweet & Sassy Framelits by Stampin Up. Sentiment was printed on the computer and hearts are computer clip art. My first thought was to add some gems but after it was finished, I decided against it. I’m very pleased with it.
