Pilgrim Hat

https://craftinghappinesschallenges.blogspot.com/2022/11/136-thanksgiving.ht

Hello and welcome.

I got the idea for this card on Pinterest. I’m not too sure I like the way mine turned out. I need some honest opinions on it. Hat is from the Silhouette, burlap was in my stash, corrugated piece was in a card from my niece, pp was online, leaves are a small hand punch. Edges of the layered pieces were cut on an antique photograph paper cutter. The antique cutter was gifted to me by one of my brothers-in-law. Even though I’m not really happy with it I’m entering it in The Crafting Happiness Challenge Thanksgiving- Fall. I know that doesn’t make a lot of sense but I do a lot of things to don’t make sense.

Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your visits. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Thankfull For You

Hello and welcome. Fall has definitely arrived here in the desert, we even turned the heat on to take the chill off.

Today’s card will probably be for our daughter & s-i-l. Corrugated piece is one my niece put in a card she sent to me. Thankful circle and pp are from online, corner leaves are from a small hand punch I’ve had forever. Circle dies are Spellbinder Classic and Scalloped Circles. Center strip was cut on an antique paper cutter that was used by photo developers. Sentiment circle is popped up. For a more finished look I edged the outer edges of the pp & corrugated paper with Cajon Craze stamp pad.

Money Holder

Hello and welcome.

Today’s money holder card is for payment to our granddaughter for another of her therapeutic corn wraps. This time I got one big enough for my back.

Again, pp is from online, die cut leaves are from no name dies from Amazon. I found the pattern on Connie Stewart’s Simply Simple Stamping YouTube page. This was too quick & easy. Below is a peek of the inside.

Fall Birthday

Hello and welcome.

Today’s card is for one of my sisters-in-law. As usual, pp is from online, circle dies are Stitched Circles by Die-namics, sentiment is from an old Stampin Up set Birthday Blossoms, sentiment and background pieces were hand cut. To round the corners on the small pieces I used a nail emery file. Center strip is a 1/8″ strip of Chocolate Chip cs.

Give Thanks

https://cyhtp.blogspot.com/2022/10/anything-goes-embossing-with-twist-of_01661511860.html

Hello and welcome. With Halloween almost over time for Thanksgiving cards.

Today’s card will be entered in CYHTP with a twist of pumpkins. The background is an embossed piece from my stash. I’m a little confused because in the photo the background looks like the debossed side is showing but not in real life. hmmm. Pp was found online, photo corners are hand cut, center strip was cut on my paper trimmer. Pumpkin is from an online coloring page, colored with Copic’s, fussy cut and popped up. After coloring the pumpkin, and before fussy cutting, I put the paper back in the printer and added the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by your visit means a lot to me. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Thanksgiving Smiles

Hello and welcome.

After seeing a couple of cards like this on Pinterest I decided to give it a try. Again, the pp is from online. The cute little acorn faces are made using SU’s Ornament punch and hats were made with the small oval punch and I just hand cut the small top pieces. For the hair I unraveled a piece of cording, bow is small piece of the cording. Smiles are punched from a small circle punch, noses are small gems, cheeks were made using an eye shadow applicator and pink stamp pad. And of course I couldn’t resist googly eyes. Sentiment was printed on the computer.

Three Turkeys

Hello and welcome. I hope you’ve had a good weekend.

Today’s card was very, very easy, thanks to Silhouette. All I did was size the image and let the machine cut away. Then all I did was apply some glue and stick it together. I’m pretty pleased with this one.

Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello and welcome.

Today’s card is my first Thanksgiving card for this year. This is a CASE of one I saw on Pinterest here https://www.pinterest.com/pin/342555115419557712/. The pp was found online. Leaf is a new (no name) die set I bought on Amazon, wheat is from the Silhouette, sentiment was printed on the computer. I was kind of stumped as to how to adhere the very narrow wheat stems, so I dropped some liquid glue on a piece of paper and lightly dipped the lower stems and put them together. Gold cord is from my stash and the leaf is popped up.

Ghost Teacher

https://makethecardschallenge.com/make-the-cards-challenge-65/

Hello and welcome. Hope you’re having a good day.

When I found this quote “What did the teacher ghost say to her class? … “Watch the board and I’ll go through it again.” I immediately thought of my daughter who teaches fifth grade. Since my Silhouette wasn’t working when I made this card, I used a clip art ghost and fussy cut it. I think my daughter will get a kick out it. I’m entering this in Make the Cards Challenge

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.
