Oh my, looking at this photo I realize I spelled seashells wrong. I’m thinking that’s ok because each line has 4 words. (I can justify any mistake).

Background paper is was found online, umbrella is from the Silhouette, beach babe is from an online coloring page colored with Copic’s, earrings and bracelets have Gold Stickles, seashell bucket is computer clip art, sentiment was printed on the computer. Umbrella is popped up.

Card base is Stampin Up’s Cajun Crase, for the background paper I Googled patriotic background papers. To kind of spook it up a bit I used a cotton ball and black stamp pad. Sentiment was printed with my Hallmark card program. Boiling pot with skeleton and fire border are from the Silhouette. Fire is popped up, bubbles are Opal Rounds from Stampin Up, and of course I just had to use googly eyes. I’m not real crazy about it but I think it’s ok.

Today’s card, for our daughter & s-i-l, is a CASE of Lisa K’s Apple Fun Fold card. Card stock is from Gina K, patterned papers were found online, die cuts are stitched squares & stitched circles from Die-namics. For the sentiment I Googled Anniversary script clip art. At first I thought it might be a little weird having the circle on the square but I like it. And so did hubby.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is another experiment for me. While going through some You Tube videos for lattice cards I came across a Faux Lattice video by Rita Holmes. Sorry, I didn’t save the page and now I can’t find it again.

The double-sided pp used is from a (not so recent) 6×6 Stampin Up book. Stamped die cut image is Gina K’s Tropical Blooms. My not so good coloring was done with Copic and Stampin Up’s Stamp and Blend markers. Sentiment was printed on the computer. Not really knowing what to do for a little interest on the top panel I tried using a small circle punch to punch out the center of the flowers on the scrap piece of the floral side of the pp. I think they look ok. I like the idea of the pp on the top inside flap.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for my favorite son-in-law. Our daughter and her hubby have birthday’s one day apart.

Card is a shaped card file from the Silhouette. Once all the pieces were cut, I just had to put them together. It was quite easy. Card stock is Crum Cake from Stampin Up, pp is The Paper Studio, twine from my stash, sentiment is from Gina K’s Birthday Blessings. My next card will be for their anniversary, a week before the birthdays.

Hello and welcome. Today’s card is for our daughter’s 50th birthday. I had made one of these peek-a-boo cards for our son’s 50th so our daughter gets one too.

Papers are all The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby, ovals are Spellbinders Scalloped and Classic ovals. Numbers are from the Silhouette, doubled with Glossy Accents on them. Photo corners are from a hand punch then I ran them through a dots embossing folder. Inside sentiment was printed on the computer then fussy cut with a decorative scissors. Her 50 year picture is a selfie.

Hello and welcome. Since I’ve really enjoyed making trellis cards, I thought that design would could make a cool Halloween card. I found the patterned paper across the top panel online then saved it to my Halloween file. For this card I just resized it. I started thinking the “planks” would look pretty cool cut from distressed wood pp. So of course I Googled Distressed wood background paper and found just what I wanted. Skull is a sticker I found in my stash, bats, spiders, ghost are die cuts also found in my stash. I added red stickles to the bats, yellow to the spiders and black to the ghost’s eyes. Top of ghost is popped with double pop dots, other images just have single pop dots.

Lemons are from an online coloring page colored with Copic’s and fussy cut. You’re the zest image was also found online then cut with Die-namics stitched circles die. Circle is popped up. Since my brain doesn’t do well with measurements and spacing this took me a couple tries but I’m very happy with the end result.

Hello and welcome. The idea for today’s card was found on Pinterest.

There’s a little story behind this one that I’ll get to in a minute. All papers are Stampin Up, die used is Spellbinders Classic Diamonds, sentiment was printed on the computer, crown is computer clip art with small clear gems from my stash, stars are from a small hand punch with Wink of Stella added.

Here’s the story: Our granddaughter did the first semester of her sophomore year of college in New Zeeland. When she met her new “mates” she told them she was Junior Miss Minnesota and they believed her. After she told us that, hubby told me I should somehow use that for her birthday card. So, I thought it definitely needed a crown on it and the inside sentiment just says, “Happy Birthday to the former Junior Miss Minnesota.” I’m not entirely happy with it but she’ll like it.
