Hard to believe that our youngest grandchild is turning 4 next month. His presents are wrapped and now his card is finished and we are getting exciting to celebrate with him in a few more weeks. For my card, I embossed a Cuttlebug star embossing folder on blue striped patterned paper, swiped it with white pigment ink and then a bronze and then white again. Gina K Designs recent live had lots of samples using embossing folders on patterned papers so I thought I would give it a try. Tim Holtz Celebration Script words dies, Spellbinder’s Star dies and Taylored Expressions Frame in Frame 3 cutting plater were all used for my card. The red stripes is an unbranded die from Amazon.
My card will be shared with:
Can You Handle the Pressure?: Anything Goes with a Twist of Stars and/or Stripes and of course the required embossing folder.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and make it a great day!!

What a fun brightly coloured card. Love the design and how you incorporated the colours to be patriotic. He will love it and you will enjoy seeing him having fun on his birthday.
I just realized that this card fits the current challenge at Seize the birthday as they want a number/s on the cards.
Thanks, Johanna. I may check it out.
Cute card. I really like the embossed background. Your grandson will love it. It is hard to believe how fast those grandkids grow up.
Thanks, Gerry, the grands are all growing up but grateful I can enjoy time with them.

What a fun card Gayle! Have fun celebrating with him, too.
