We in Pennsylvania refer to our nearest beaches as “heading to the shore” which is in New Jersey and the Atlantic Ocean. It is always fun to dig my feet in the sand and stroll the shoreline looking for shells. Today, my umbrella is up and my chair is in place to watch the waves. After masking off my card with post it tape, I created sand, sea and sky, then added Gina K Designs die cuts and stamped some grass. Sentiment is also a GKD. My card will be shared with:
As You See It Challenge: Challenge 372 – Beach Combing

I did add a few shells to the inside of my card. Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and make it a great day.

Great beach scene! Love how you masked the background leaving a lot of white space!! So much detail and still clean looking.
Thanks, Lisa, I appreciate your feedback.
Love the beachy panel on your card – and that chair and parasol look so inviting! Thanks for joining us at As You See It challenge
Thanks for a fun challenge and theme.
Fantastic card! I like beach cards as I can dream.
Thanks, Lisa, I’m hoping we get away for at least one day at the shore this summer.
Gayle your beachy scene with the chair looks so inviting and I really like the masked column design – beautifully clean and simple. So glad you shared with us over at As You See It this week!
THanks for a fun challenge and theme.
Great beach scene. That chair and umbrella are very inviting.
Thanks, Gerry, I much prefer to sit on the beach chair and watch waves roll into the shoreline.
A perfect beach scene – I ALWAYS have an umbrella! Such a fun masked design, too! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!
Thanks, Heather, it was a fun theme.
This is such a perfect beach scene and I love that you did the background in a single strip rather than fill the entire card front.
It’s a pretty card that makes me want to go swim in the ocean.
That’s a super beach scene and I like that it’s done as a strip like this. The umbrella is wonderful and I really like that it leans over, almost off the edge of the card. It feels like summer, looking at your card. Thanks for sharing with us at As You See It. 🙂
This certainly gives a beachy vibe and I love your technique of keeping it confined to a single strip on the front panel, with the chair and grasses extending beyond. It certainly keeps one guessing! Thanks for giving our theme at try at As You See It!
