Blues!

I have had this finished card on my desk for a challenge for a week or so and decided I better post before the challenge closes. For my card I used a variety of blues from a Recollections (Michael’s) cardstock pack. After cutting the three panels to size I embossed each using an older Cuttlebug Pop Culture embossing folder, stamped and die cut The Thing with Feathers Taylored Expressions stamped in more blue. Sentiment precut and in my stash is also TE.

My card will be shared with Can you Handle the Pressure? Anything Goes with a Twist of Blues (monochrromatic)

Last week the air conditioning was used in the house and this week the heat is back on!! It’s an up and down weather pattern for us in Pennsylvania but I guess that’s SPRING! Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and make it a great day.

  2. Lovely card! I like texture. We hit 80 degrees today, so the AC is definitely on. The heat was on yesterday morning. It is definitely spring.

  3. Oh Gayle this is such a beautiful card! Well done! Yes the weather is the same here in Akron, OH. Up & Down … I’ve not turned the A/C on yet but I have had to turn the furnace off & on several times over the past couple of weeks! Yep … it’s Spring and then all of a sudden it will be 90 degrees and too hot! LOL

  4. This is such a great card Gayle. All the different blues and the texture make it so interesting to look at. We have a similar spring happening here, but it is definitely warming up.

    1. Thanks, Gerry, I like feathers on cards but I’m never sure where to place one but this card seemed to need something.
