Pastel Spring

Taylored Expressions’ Fields Aflutter background stamp in vermark ink and heat set in white embossing powder and ink blended in soft colors created the focal image of my card today. TE’s Arched Stacklets die then embossed with TE’s Tiny Twinkles embossing folder for some extra dimension. SimonSaysStamp Whirl Butterflies die cut in the smallest die and ink blended with the same colors of my background. My card will be shared in a color challenge that uses Stampin Up colors but I don’t have any of those lovely colors so my take on the color challenge was GKD’s Light Cranberry, Applemint and Blue Lagoon. I am really liking this background stamp.

My card with be shared with:

As You See It Challenge: Challenge#369 Soft Spring Colours

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and make it a great day!

  1. You know we are often in synch with our thinking. Last night I was seriously considering doing a card something similar to yours for this challenge. I love your design and the colours are a great match to the inspo photo.

  2. So pretty, Gayle – love this little pastel meadow scene! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!

  3. Resist embossing was a great way to show off the soft challenge colours, while the arched shape is lovely – like looking out of a window to the scenery beyond. Thank you for sharing this sweetheart of a card with us at As You See It.

  4. What a pretty little scene you created–it’s just darling in the challenge colors! The arched design really gives it a classic look, too! Thanks for playing with our colors this week at As You See It!

  5. Gayle the bands of colour are perfect in your butterfly garden and I love the use of the arch to add interest too. So pretty! Thanks for playing along with us over at As You See It this week!

  6. I love your rainbow blended background, Gayle! And the butterflies are so attention grabbing! They stand out in the best way possible! Thanks for getting colourful with us at As You See It Challenges!
