Framed Wishes

Today’s card was made using Taylored Expressions Create In Quads Pattern Playground layering stencil, Peace Within dies, Dragon Tales dies and Sending sentiment stamp/die set. Using more masculine ink colors and background image but opted to add the framed leafy branch cut twice, once in the white and offset in a light soft gray cardstock while adding the tiny dragonfly in the frame corner makes this card more gender neutral now and I believe I can use for the guy or the girl. My card will be shared with a new to me challenge and thanks to Buddy Johanna for recommending it to me:

Seize The Birthday #306 – Use a Frame

  1. Lovely card! This is one of my favorite challenges as I send a lot of birthday cards. I like the background as it looks like a curtain. The dragonfly adds a nice tough.

    1. Thanks, Lisa, birthday cards are my most sent cards too so this will be a great challenge blog to add to my list.

  2. I love the background and agree the card is gender neutral. It is quite striking and the addition of the dragonfly adds some whimsy.

  3. This is such a cool card and that background looks amazing. Love the addition of the dragonfly too. Thanks for playing at Seize the Birthday.

  4. I love those stencil sets! Awesome color choices and this looks particulary beautiful with the addition of the frame. We’re delighted you found us! (Thanks Johanna!) And thank you for sharing it with us in the gallery!
