Sparkly Star Birthday

I made a birthday card for my brother following the alphabet challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.

Our letter is S and my brother’s name fits the challenge. The AAA Cards challenge is a Clean and Simple birthday card. This fits perfectly for that challenge. The AAA Cards challenge site has sister challenges. One of the sister challenge is a birthday challenge. I am also submitting to that challenge.

I used Sizzix dies to cut the stars out of SU Specialty Glimmer paper. The greeting is from a Park Lane stamp set and the name is from a Your Next Stamp alpha set. This is CAS as I didn’t add a lot of other things. I followed an idea I found on Pinterest which helped me place the tiny stars around the larger star.

Thanks for stopping by. I am happy to have this card ready to mail as soon as I do something on the inside.

    1. Thank you! It was a little difficult to get those letters to stay put as they kept trying to turn on their side. I wish letter sets would always add more than 1 e, as that is used a lot.

  1. Great CAS birthday card. I really like the star arrangement and that you personalized it, too.
