A speed challenge card from Buddy Johanna peaked my interest to join in the fun. After gathering my background designer paper from my stash and colored cardstocks and my PUNCHES as required by this speed challenge and a prepared sentiment from my stash I was ready to go. The patterened paper was trimmed to fit my note card and using Marvy circle punches, I punched the largest of the circles in white and light blue, then the next size was punched finishing with SU’s 1-3/8″ punch. After adhering my circles, the EK Success dragonfly was cut multiple times from the different colors with top layering being vellum. Sentiment added and side circle trimmed off just in time. I CASE’d this card idea from Tina @ cardsandcoffeetime.com.
Oops forgot to mention that my card took 9 minutes and 12 seconds to complete and again that much time to clean up!
It always fun to play along and share my card with:

Lovely card! I like the dragonfly as he is heading in to the sky.

Thanks, Johanna, and for posting you card for the challenge. These are always fun.
Great job on this Gayle! The circles and sentiment are fun.
Lovely card Gayle. Love that dragon fly with a little glitter.
Fancy card, Gayle! I love those off-center concentric circles you punched, and I’m a sucker for glitter paper! Thanks for braving our speed challenge at As You See It!
Such a cute design – I keep all my circle punches ever because they’re just so handy! Such fun papers! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!
Using circles was a great idea as was the bright colours you’ve chosen. It’s a good thing clean up time isn’t included! Thanks for taking up the speed challenge at As You See It.
I almost went with circles too Gayle – they are so great for quick cards! Yours are so full of colour, texture and interest and the colours pop against the grey beautifully. Thanks for playing along with our speedy punch challenge over at As You See It this week!
Thanks, Joanne, it’s always fun to play along.
