I have a goal for the year to try to use what I own. I am not sure how long that will last as there is always something new catching my eye. This card is using many retired products, most that have never been used before.

The stamp set used is called Butterfly Gala with the matching punch, very retired. The colors used are Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sorbet, and gold. I used a stencil on the background that I heat embossed with clear glitter embossing powder. The gold is a Posca Pen. The color challenge is from SplitcoastStampers CC1033.

I am entering this in the December Stencil challenge, even though it is January. Thanks for coming by and seeing my creation. I enjoyed creating with something new to me.

BEAUTIFUL card! I’m with you, I certainly don’t need to be buying anything else … I have stuff I bought last year that I haven’t even used yet! Now to deny the temptation lol. Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our STENCIL FUN challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

It is hard to stick to a so spending plan. I doubt I make it.
LOL … I doubt I make it either but going to TRY my best (for awhile at least) … so difficult with all these end of the years Sales!! I just keep deleting the emails so as not to temp myself lol. Good Luck!!
BEAUTIFUL!!! Love the embossed stenciled background.
Thank you! I had fun creating that. It is something I never do so I enjoyed it.
A beautiful card Lisa. Everything works so well together. Good luck on the not buying anything for a while. Its hard not to sometimes.
Yes, I am already thinking of a purchase. I need to walk away. Thank you!
Love the colors you used. Great layout, too. Love your idea to use what you have; I should definitely do the same!
It is hard to not purchase. I am not sure I will last, but I really would like to. Thanks!
Beautiful card and love that you shopped your stash! You have inspired me to attempt to do the same; however I have a few things in my cart in a couple of different companies waiting for me to complete the checkout. I have very little will power.
I love the colors and the stenciled portion with the shine from your embossing. Butterflies are always dear to me and yours are perfect.
Thanks! I am not sure how long I will hold out from shopping. I seem to always need something else.
Very pretty. I’ve never tried embossing through a stencil – makes a great background. I have so many things I haven’t used I should quit buying and just shop my stash. But then a new release comes along and I cave.
Those new releases can be brutal to the wallet, but they are so appealing. Thanks!
Very beautiful card, doesn’t it feel SO good to use what you have? As for trying not to order so much I already failed with Cottage Cutz having their up to 80% off sale, at least I ‘tried’ LOL!!
Thank you for joining our challenge at Stencil Fun!

Thank you! I am trying not to shop, but I don’t think I am suceeding. I keep seeing items I may have to have.
What a great card! Love your goal, too. Those are sweet butterflies and a wonderful background.
I have already broken the goal. It was a great sale! Thanks.
