Each week I play along with the alphabet challenge at Splitcoast Stampers and this week is a flower called the Ursinia. It is in the daisy family and found in Africa. It’s colors are orange with a darker circle towards the center and then orange in the center. I used the Sunday Stamps sketch to complete my card.

I used Newton’s Nook Dainty Daisies for the flower and a Simon Says Stamp and die set for the word Hugs. The ovals are cut with Gina K Designs and Thermoweb stitched ovals. The patterned paper is from SU Flowers for Every Season DSP. I colored the flowers with alcohol markers and fussy cut them.

Each week of this alpha challenge is another flower I have never heard of. I research each one and either create the flower or use the colors to make my card. This one went together easily with the help of this sketch.

Your beautifully colored daisies look amazing, and I love them with mint and white background. So pretty!
