Hello and welcome. Today’s card is the first sympathy card for a pet that I’ve made. The other day a good friend was telling me that she had to put her pug, Buttercup, down. When she was telling me she was so sad and crying I just had to make her a card.
The background paper has been in my stash for a long time. Pug image is computer clip art fussy cut and adhered to cardstock. Sentiment was printed on the computer. The focal cardstock piece looked kind of plain so added 1/4″ background paper strips to each side.
Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you and your time. Have a great day and stay healthy, safe & cool. Our daily high temps are still hanging around 108-111. We’re getting pretty tired of it.

Great card and I am sure very much appreciated.
Thank you Diana. I know she will appreciate it.
Wonderful card! I have made these before and those who receive are so thrilled that I took the time to create it just for them. Your friend will love this.
Thank you Lisa.
So very thoughtful of you. She will be soothed by this act of kindness
Thank you Bonnie.
That is a nice card for your friend. Losing a pet is as bad as losing a person.
Thank you Johanna. I’m not a pet person but I understand how much pets are part of the family.
Perfect sympathy card for your friend, and I’m sure she will appreciate it.
Thank you Lisa.
Such a lovely gesture for your friend’s loss of her dear pet. I’m sure she will appreciate it.
Ugh! Sorry to hear about your temps! It’s getting pretty old!
Thank you Gayle. Oh yeah, these temps are getting pretty tiresome.
You are so sweet to make a wonderful card for your friend. It’s so hard when our pets go.
