Continuing through the Alphabet

I had to look and see the last alphabet challenge card I posted and it was V. I will share W, X, and Y for you to see.

For W, I chose the state of Washington. The state fruit is the red apple. I had fun creating this with the Apple Harvest stamp and die set from Stampin Up.

I used Lawn Fawn’s Ahoy Matey stamp set for this card. I found several cards on Pinterest which I combined to create this. One card had directions to create the treasure map, so I used her directions to create the paper that looked old. I followed her directions and Tombow marker colors for coloring my images. I used a few other cards to help with the layout. I enjoyed creating this card. It was mailed today to my BIL for his birthday.

My destination for Y is Yakama, Washington. They produce 50% of the Concord Grapes used in grape juice. I used Lawn Fawn Year Ten set for this card along with the newest Embroidery die set. The gingham paper is Gina K Designs along with matching cardstock. This was fun to create.

I am in the last week of the challenge for the letter Z. I have enjoyed creating these cards as I often had to think about where to go, what to use, and how to create the card. Sometimes I searched for ideas and other times, I just looked in my stash. Thanks for sharing in these creations.

  1. Love your creative Alphabet card subjects. They are always well thought out. All three cards show your range of creativity.

    1. Thank you! Some were very fun to create. Many are not sent, yet, but will be sent when I need them. I guess I will hang in there for the next round, whatever idea the hostess has.

    1. Thank you! I do enjoy coloring. The apples were saved in the set from last Fall sometime. It is fun to find a previously colored image and find a use for it.

    1. Thank you! The treasure map was fun to create. I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth paper and kept adding different colors of ink and water. I think my water had Perfect Pearls mixed in it so it was shiny. It was fun to create something so different for me.

  2. So creative and the treasure map is amazing. As always your colouring is wonderful.

    1. Thank you! The treasure map was fun to create. I may need to create another for Father’s Day for my husband. Not sure, yet, but I think he would like it.

  3. What fun cards. Love the treasurer map. You are so clever coming up with ways to use the letters.
