Birthday Dots & Flower

Hello and welcome. I saw a card like this on Pinterest and thought it would be fun to make. After starting it I realized it would fit two challenges.

The 2 background pieces were run through the dots embossing folder by Stampin Up. I used a piece of the polka dot paper for the background layer on the flower. The white flower petals are also embossed and popped up, center of flower is a small hand punch, gem from my stash. Flower square is from the Silhouette and both squares are paper pierced. Sentiment was printed on the computer.

Thank you for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time. Have a great day and stay healthy & safe.

  1. Love this! That green and white is a cheery combination, and I LOVE how you used the negative of the flower die cut to add the color with the white. I may have to CASE your CASE – lol!!

  2. I’m with both Lisa’s. I love this and really like how you used the negative space.

  3. Love the green polka dots and the embossing folder treatment. Then there is that flower…awesome. Clever and creative card.

  4. Oh Gerry this is awesome! Love your design and the lime green color!

Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D & CYHTP challenges!  Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
