The Sisterhood of Crafters is all about dots or stripes. I made a card today that has stripes.

This is my destination card for this week, a kitchen for K. I chose to use Yummy Mimi from Penny Black for my focal image. The greeting is from a Hero Arts set. I presented my daughter with a few pieces of paper and she suggested the stripes as they matched the colors in my image. The stripes are perfect for the Sisterhood of Crafters challenge.

I appreciate you coming by today. Enjoy your day!

so cute! Love the striped paper and your coloring is amazing!
Thank you! I think I had at least 10 markers out before I was finished.
Your daughter has a good eye for paper choices. Love this and your image is so beautifully coloured.
Thank you! I use my family’s help a lot for an idea or the closest paper match. They can be helpful.
Love this card and isn’t Mimi just the most adorable line of stamps! Great card, coloring and your treatment for the stripes and dots challenge.
Thank you! I think this is the first time I have inked this stamp.
Lisa, you are on a roll with really sweet cards. I love this.
Thank you! She is fun to color.
So cute!! Love the paper you chose, and you colored the image beautifully!
Matching all your elements is very well done
Well, the striped paper absolutely completes the card perfectly! Good job daughter! Adorable card mom! So glad you linked your creation to our challenge at CAS on Friday, we hope to see more of your work! Hugs!
