Starting to make my Valentine cards and the first one will be for our 18 month old grandson with this fun card. After seeing a sketch on Facebook from Rabbit Hole Designs, I decided to shop my stash and came up with this fun “Longing” giraffe from Penny Black stamps. My heart frame was cut using Spellbinders heart dies, the LOVE is emphemera and then at the last minute decided to lightly stencil hearts from Pretty Pink Posh with pink left on a brush.
My card today will be shared with the challenge at:
Cardz 4 Galz: Reds and/or Pinks Galore

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. The rain today with the above freezing temperatures have washed away all of the snow. It will be another toss up if we will see more rain or snow but I sure could use a nice sunny day. Take care, be safe and stay warm.

This is so cute! Love how you used what you had on hand; all the elements look great together!
Thanks, Lisa, it’s fun to shop my stash every once in awhile.
What a darling card. Adding the hearts in the background was the perfect touch.
Thanks, Judy, I apreciate it.
So cute! I agree with Lisa and Judy. You added the perfect touch with the hearts in the background. I like the pink on the giraffe.
Thanks so much Lisa, I’m glad I added the stenciling.
This is just too cute!! The pink giraffe is adorable and those soft stenciled hearts are the perfect touch.
Thanks, Gerry, the card was just a little too CAS for me before adding the stenciling.
I agree with the others adding the stenciled hearts was perfect. It is an adorable card and fits the challenge beautifully. I love the pink giraffe and its eyelashes made me envious.
Thanks, Johanna, I appreciate it.
So pretty and perfect for his age. You have inspired me to shop my stash. I am afraid my digi files are way too long left unopened and underappreciated.
Thanks, Bonnie, it’s kind of fun to find those older images once again.
Cute card I love the giraffe. so glad you shared over at Cardz 4 Galz
