Light blue & navy

This started out as a finished card I found in my stash of cards to be finished.  Maybe because it was on such flimsy cardstock I thought I would do something else with it.  I trimmed the card front and added an In the Navy Mat and put on a Powder Blue CB. The snowflakes are from various GKD sets. The sentiment is from the Sparkling Christmas kit from 2015. I was delighted to discover that it works for the Color Hues Challenge to use Light Blue and Navy. Another card for my 2024 stash.

  1. Way to go Judy. Repurposing a card that you didn’t use initially and then having it work for the challenge is a bonus. You are definitely getting a head start on 2024 stock. Love this one. It is simple and pretty and the sentiment is great.

    1. Thanks Johanna. It was a bonus. I’m glad to get a head start on next Christmas but we’ll see how long it lasts.

  2. How nice to find such a lovely panel in just the right colors for our challenge! You’ve finished it off beautifully. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!

  3. Great save Judy and a perfect use of our challenge colors! And YAY for having a Christmas card done already for 2024!! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at The Color Hues Color Challenge!! Marcia (DT)

    1. Thanks. I always enjoy the Color Hues challenge but don’t always get a chance to play. It’s nice having a start on my cards for next year.

  4. Love the script sentiment and well done for rescuing a previously abandoned make AND you’ve already added to your 2024 stash!! Thanks for linking up at Color Hues. 🙂

    1. Thanks Bonnie. The original was really flimsy and I don’t know why I didn’t do something with it before.
