One last Christmas card for my hubby. I didn’t think we were exchanging cards this year because he’s still recovering from that knuckle replacement surgery and is pretty much in a one handed, non dominate handed state. He didn’t think he would make it to the store to but a card for me so I told him I wouldn’t make one for him. We exchange cards on every occasion. So he walked to the nearby CVS and found a card for me. Then I had to laugh over his outrage at the price of a Hallmark card!!! I told him when he has both hands back he needs to go to the “elf room” and make his own cards in the future.
Using some plaid papers from my supplies and Tim Holtz dies this “winter snow scene” The black oval piece has some stars printed on it (hard to see) so Santa flying through the night sky over some winter trees makes this a winter/snow scene for me.
My card will be shared with Double D Challenges: Winter/Snow Scene challenge

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.

Gayle, this is a perfect masculine Christmas card. I love it.

Thanks for another fun challenge, Diane.
I like the plaid! Nice card.
My husband went to my craft room in 2020 and got a large stash of cards. He doesn’t have to go the store again to shop for cards as he is covered. I have so many that never get mailed. He did use a stamp to add something when a gem fell off. I am always surprised at the cards he found and many are several years old.
That’s a great idea, Lisa. I keep on telling Will to do that or make one. I told him our granddaughter Brooke would instruct him on how to ddo things.
The plaid background is perfect for the other images. Great hubby card.
Thanks, Johanna, I thought it would be perfect for a masculine card.
Great masculine card design! I love that he walked to the store to get your card – so sweet! It is crazy how expensive store bought cards are, but I’m not sure how much cheaper handmade cars are after you add up all the tools and supplies that are used! Good thing my husband doesn’t ask how much all that stuff costs – lol!
What a great card Gayle! Too funny about his outrage, but would he really go in and make one? Hopefully he will. That would be fun.
What a darling winter scene you’ve created! Just perfect for the Double D Challenge. Best of luck to you in the draw!
I do love this, but then again it does have plaid. I told Terry when I first got my Silhouette that the first card was only $150. There was a time I refused to speed the time shopping for a card because the sentiment was not right when the graphics were or visa versa. Now I will spend hours on a single card. Go figure.
