Thank You

In July and August, I was a hostess and verified entries for the Dare to Get Dirty challenges at Splitcoast Stampers. One item I said I would perform is to send Thank You cards to the sponsors. These cards went out the door within in the last few weeks. I was waiting for all of the prizes to be given, which took a while.

This was one layout I used. Basically I took a 12 X 12 piece of DSP, patterned paper, from Stampin Up and cut it into 4 X 5 1/4 pieces. Then I matted the pieces with a matching piece of cardstock. The color is Evening Evergreen which matches the green in the DSP. I pulled an old Hero Arts greeting from my stash; it is in a woodblock designer case and there are many greeting stamps in the collection. I added the strip of cardstock as a ribbon substitute then finished with a gem.

This card will be added to the Cardz 4 Galz challenge: https://cardz4galz.blogspot.com/2023/11/211-thank-you-thankful-or-thanksgiving.html

Thank you for stopping by. I always appreciate the comments. Our weather turned bitter cold this week but we are headed for 60 degrees today! I am excited as I do not like cold and it is a bit too early for winter.

  1. Beautiful thank you card and design. The patterned paper is lovely and great idea to add the layering panels. Enjoy your warmer weather and send it east to me. Way too early to be this cold.

  2. What a beautiful Thank You card. Glad it was easy to mass produce, but they still take time. That was a generous thing to do.
Yikes on your cold! It’s been down in the low 80s here the beginning of the week, though warming up a couple of degrees for the next few days. I wouldn’t want the temperature to be down where you are. Granted, I’m a desert rat, so I’d much rather deal with hot than cold.

    1. Thank you! This sheet made 6 cards, then I used another pattern for another 3 or 4. There were many sponsors and sending cards is something that I can do easily. I rarely send Thank You cards. It is just something that usually doesn’t cross my mind.

  3. A beautifully elegant card. I love the colourful leaf background. Thanks for sharing with us at Cardz 4 Galz. Caz. DT.
