Brooke & Halloween

Just how much fun is it to have a sleepover due to a school holiday on Monday. I will let you know that it’s a blast letting Brooke, my 11 year old granddaughter, take charge of my “elf” room and start designing Halloween cards. What a maker she is!!! This card was a combination of a fabulous patterned paper pack, Grumpy Pets and a Tim Holtz set. And if one card was not enough how about the rest of these amazing cards.

Brooke used some patterned papers, dies, pouncers, stickers, googly eyes, embossing folders and a whole lot of fun.

Just for fun I’m sharing Brooke’s cards with one of my favorite challenges:

Halloween Crafts All Year Round Challenge #8

Chase, Brooke’s brother, did his part, too. He ate all of the candy corn candy! And best of all chose his favorite card which was the top one.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care; be safe.

    1. Thanks, Lisa, it’s always fun to have them for sleepovers. Chase makes cards, too, if it’s for a special day for his mom and dad.

    1. LOL….Gerry, they snacked and ate all the good things they wanted, stayed up late and just had some down time. Love having them.

    1. Thanks Bonnie, she does really well with colors. She had a lot of fun cutting the head off the grumpy cat and adding a TH image to the body. What a kid!!

  1. She is as talented as you are and I’m glad you posted a card to a challenge. If it is chosen she will be so pleased with herself. Glad you had a fun time with the grandkids.

    1. Thanks Johanna. Brooke has some basic stamping supplies and she borrows from me. For her birthday, I bought her one of those small die cut machines but she still likes to create with me.

  2. I think it must be fun to be creating with her and not have to worry that your craft room will be destroyed. When they are really little they don’t understand how to be careful of anything.

    1. LOL….Brooke has her own crafting station in her bedroom at her home. She likes to oranize and clean up “MY” space. I share stamps with her all the time and bought her one of those mini die cutters for her birthday.
