I was a little stuck with how to incorporate an embossing folder and poppies until I saw a card design on the Fans of Taylored Expressions Facebook group. I wasn’t sure how I could give credit to the original card but I appreciate that design. A StampinUp/Sizzix embossing folder was used on shimmer white cardstock. My poppies are from Taylored Expressions Poppy Fields layering stencil which was free with a purchase. SimonSaysStamp’s word and shadow dies as well as a few little sparkly bling embellishments complete my card today.
I will be sharing my card with:
Can You Handle the Pressure: Anything Goes with an embossing folder with a twist of poppies.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, be safe and yes I’m still hoping to stay cool!!

I always like when I see a design that makes it all come together. Lovely card!
Thanks, Lisa, I was inspired by the other maker’s card.
Beautiful card Gayle. The embossing is pretty as a background to your poppies.
Thanks, Johanna.
Your poppies are lovely. Great design.
Thanks, Judy, it’s a fun new stencil from Taylored Expressions.
I am loving the red with the black contrast. Of course the ef makes the best bg
Thanks, Bonnie, since it’s an embossing challenge I thought that should be more prominent than the twist. I was happy to find this idea but my banner could have used a little more work. LOL
Oh Gayle this is just gorgeous! Love how you incorporated the poppies (since they are stenciled, don’t forget to share this clever idea with us over on our Stencil Fun challenge – link below my name). Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Can You Handle the Pressure challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

Great job on using an embossing folder with your poppies! I love that you get most of the TE stencils and you put them to great use.
Thanks, Golda, I like the line of release from TE. They seem to mix things up a little more than others.
Great way to highlight beautiful paper! Nice CAS card design.
