Floral Stencil Hello

I make a lot of cards that say Hello as they can be used for anything. I also make a lot of Thinking of You cards for the same reason; they can be adapted to be used for many occasions. Today, I combined the two greetings into one floral card.

I used the layering stencil from Gina K Designs called A Little Hello Layering Stencil Bundle. My Thinking of You greeting strip came from My Favorite Things Itty Bitty Basics with strip die to cut it out.

I used Lawn Fawn inks to blend the layers. I used Lemonade for the flower base layer, then added Peach Fuzz for the strips. The circle center is Fake Tan (orange color). The greens used are Celery Stalk and Freshly Cut Grass. After the ink blending was finished and dry, I came back with Simon Hurley Solar Paste. It adds a shimmer of sparkle when it is flashed in the light; it does not photograph well to see the shine.

  1. Beautiful. Love the cheery colors. I agree that general sentiments can be used for any ocassion. The combination of the large die and the strip sentiment looks great together.

    1. Thank you! I have had this for a year and have barely used it. So glad to finally create something with it.

  2. I often do the same as you and keep a sentiment that is general so it can be used anywhere. Love this creation. Beautiful flowers and colours.

  3. Lisa, this is beautiful and great job on entering it in 3 different challenges. I love your sentiments and you are right; they are perfect to adapt to most any situation. I need to remember that.
