#1 Butterflies — instead of making an offset gatefold card, I decided to cut down the opening and add the inside card butterfly panel so they are displayed when closed.
#2 Butterflies –rainbow ink on kraft layered in black and mounted on kraft card base. A little bit of splatter in white. I don’t use a lot of white and to do over I would probably ink in white pigment first or maybe distress oxide inks.
#3 Butterflies — on white with pixie spray and foil.
All of my butterflies were inked in rainbow colors, some sparkle added and my Buddy Bonnie Butterfly stencil was used for these cards. With the kraft #2 and pixie spray #3 cards, I did ink the backgrounds with the coordinating inks as the butterflies. Same Stencil, same inks and 3 different looks. Thanks again Bonnie for my stencil. Love all 3 of your butterfly cards, Gayle! Great idea on the first one to just cut the front panel down and put the other layer inside, but shows when closed. Love all the butterflies and that you inked them in ROYGBV.
