A birthday card for our youngest grandchild. Time has flown by and this little guy will be one next week. For my card, I decided on bright colors focusing on yellows and greens, Newton Nook’s Love Quarry stamp and die set, Concord & 9th’s Alphabet dies, Stampin Up/Sizzix’s Banner Framelets (trimmed down), patterned paper from my stash and a computer generated (if off center) greeting.
My card will be shared with:
Colorful Options: August 2023 challenge with this month’s colors Yellow and Green. My card is predominately those colors but I’m sure I fit the option of using Rainbow colors which I have covered. So this card may be a two-fer!!

I’m still in recovery mode after our 5 year old granddaughter and the soon to be birthday boy 11 months old came on vacation to our house for 4 days. Fun but exhausting. Our two older grandchildren came home early from vacation and helped babysit. We all had a wonderful time with 4 grands in the house together. Can you believe our central air went out sometime Friday and Saturday morning we woke up to 80+ degrees in the house. Thankfully the HVAC company came out in the afternoon and made the repairs to the three year old unit and the 86 degrees took about 4-5 hours to drop to normal temps.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, be safe and stay cool.

Super cute card! Glad they came out and took care of your AC quickly. How fun to have all of your grandchildren together at your house!
Thanks, Lisa, it was fun if exhausting time together. So glad the older ones came to help.
Cute card! Sorry about your air-we keep ours at 80 all the time – has been running constantly as still 110 or higher! Sure hope we get some rain soon!
Yikes, I feel for you in Arizona, Diana. I was overheating in my overheated house when the temps reached 80 and I can’t even begin to mention how I felt at 86 degrees. Thanks for stopping in to comment.
Super cute for the birthday boy.
Thanks, Bonnie.
This is soooo cute!!! There’s no better feeling that having all the grandchildren at once, even if it is exhausting. Glad your AC got fixed quickly.
Thanks, Gerry, it was a good, happy tired feeling especially after the house temps cooled down.
How cute and colorful. What fun having all the grands at one time, even if it was a bit tiring. Air conditioners pick the worst times to go out. Glad you were able to get it repaired so quickly.
Thanks, Judy, it was a full few days made much better with the a/c working again.
That’s a cute card for a grandkid. Bright colours are perfect for the littlies. Can’t imagine the A/C going out in those temperatures. Glad it was fixed quickly.
First, that sentiment may not be perfectly centered on the paper, but it’s in just the right spot. Love your card. Though the AC being 80+ degrees inside made me laugh as our AC keeps our house and 82 degrees when my husband is home alone, and 80 when I’m home with him. Then again, the outside low doesn’t get down to 90 degrees at night, yet. Yes, that was LOW.
Thanks, Golda, my son lived in Phoenix for a few years and told me flat out I wouldn’t be able to live there because needing my room temp too cool.
Adorable card! Love the bright colors and that cute truck image. Glad you had fun with your grandchildren. And glad you got your AC fixed so quickly; I do not do well in the heat!!
